Forbes Magazine has named Denver-Boulder the best US city for singles in 2006. This is the third straight year that Colorado's mile high city has taken the title.
The test looks at 40 large metropolitan areas and judges them by nightlife, culture, job growth, number of singles, cost of living alone, online dating, and coolness.
"Denver residents are energetic, educated and incredibly active--professionally, recreationally, philanthropically and socially," says Denver mayor John Hickenlooper. "All of [these factors] make Denver attractive to single individuals looking to meet people, get involved or just have fun."
Boston, followed by Phoenix, San Francisco-Oakland and New York rounded out the top five. The full article can be found at Forbes.com
